Sounds reasonable.....Daz get an X50 ordered then you will be able to do track days with the top down!

IIRC the 996 turbo was £96k when it was first released ,, by that standard the 996 turbo cab is a bargain at £96k

Standard turbo is about £88k. Rich mentioned fitting PCM to all turbos from 2004, adding this cost would bring the basic car upto about £90k. This giving a premium for the convertible version of about £6k.

Cool !! The 996 Turbo Cab will be out just months before they launch the new model. Great. Not.

I love the Turbo, but the shape of the rear-end on the cab is awful..

Having said that, an X50 Turbo Cab could be one of the best alrounders (driving wise) so long as you don't look at it from behind.

Doesn't float my boat, I think cabrio's have a different ethos to the "max grunt fest" ultimate tin tops. I do think it's hard to beat a softtop on a warm sunny evening, with the wind in your hair & the exhaust in your ear's, but I don't think they are about maximum attack.
Buy a second hand 911 tin top & a Boxter, two cars for the price of one !!!

All 996 Cabs have a fat butt. Can't be helped. Don't care - I'd have one happy in the knowledge that when I'm driving it I can't see its a**e!
