These new mobile scamera locations are in addition to the other 150 or so mobile scamera locations already operating. Oh plus the fixed buggers.

As you can see looking out for these and clocking the speedo every two seconds doesn't exactly give one much time to look where one is going.

DAZ

Still, good to know so far they've done fcuk all about the uninsured **** who lost control whilst speeding around a corner and drove into my merc last month and did then did a runner leaving me attending his passenegr sparked out in the middle of the road. Clearly getting scum like this off of OUR roads in the interest of safety is not a priority, when revenue can be amassed elsewhere under the same banner.

You might find this very helpful....

It is a website with links to each local police station website. On each site if you do a search for "speed" you should be able to find a helpful list of all the fixed camera and mobile camera sites in operation. In the intersest of safety of course ...

Chewton Mendip had a camera van in it yesterday.

Ever so sneaky.
Parked next to a building site, load of other vans. It had its single back door opened upwards so only a tiny splash of yellow showing on bumper low to the ground. Also, no side windows so camera and operator well hidden in the shadows deep inside the van.

Not to mention it's deceptively downhill and the speed creeps up with foot off the gas.
It's approaching a tight corner with a busy junction so most people (I hope) are watching the road and not got their eyes glued on the speedo!

Maybe I'm wrong, perhaps it is more important to keep my speed below 30mph and to hell with hazards on the road
