2001 A2 Seatbelt stuck

The driver seatbelt in my A2 stuck this morning! I was putting it on and must have been pulling it too fast because it jammed/stopped feeding out of the pillar. The belt retracted back into the pillar no problem, but will only come out about an inch before jamming - so I can't put my belt on.

I am going to see if I can get into the pillar when I get home, but it looks pretty well put together. Any advice on freeing the belt or removing the pillar cover/accessing the belt winder would be appreciated! I will have to take it to the garage if I can't sort it myself. Many thanks!

I'd definetly take it to a garage if you cant get the pillar trim off.
