What makes Lamborghini think of these colours?
Discussion
Y'all have seen / will soon see the various Lamborghinis that will be displayed soon on the big-show circuit with or without these apparently 'ice' coloured cars.
They are very, very dark
brown
so, not so much a deep trip, more like too much time spent in the grass,

man...
(mind you, there used to be a gorgeous Urraco in the UK in almost the same colour as a Minstrel chocolate - it was/is a great car to look at, which is probably why it got sold to 'the' collector in Japan)

Just found out that the colour is called Blu Cepheus (obviously). It's referred to as a high-fashion colour, intended to convey a polar ice-like purity and is part of the Ad Personem 'idea' of any colour being available along with much else. It occured to me that Lamborghini Manchester could park one outside Old Trafford for a laugh one day - maybe Sven would buy one if they do??
The leather in the Roadster with the light coloured seats is actually untreated so that it will wear in an individual way as well, much like a horse saddle. Owners will just have to learn to live with the slightly iffy colour of the part of the seat they sit on over time if their driving habits lead to a certain, er, straining...
The brown/black on the Gallardo is a colour we've sort-of seen on the Reventón and it's called Marrone Apus and it will be listed as a standard colour option. It is the first ever colour offered by Lamborghini which is a matt finish, although we've all seen some old Countachs and Urracos that have 'aged' that non-shiny way... I know a green coloured car that's a bit that way inclined sometimes!!

I think it is fantastic, very few cars can carry off those loud or vibrant colours so I think it is great when they do. I'm sure this 'marmite' reaction might've been the same when people first saw lime green Muiras back in the Sixties...well those that weren't tripping I guess...and who knows this colour might become iconic in the same way (slim chance I know but just trying to make a point).
I have to say I am no fan of these 'stealth' dark grey cars with dark grey wheels. To me they are just dull and you can't appreciate the lines of the car.
