I think I'm correct in that the engine was located farther back compared to it's stablemate the Grifo.

The Bizzi was the racer.

Intermeccanica Indra

I saw this Indra in September last year, during the Dutch All-Bitter rally as our tour stopped at this dealer / car museum for lunch and a break. The interesting coincidence is that Erich Bitter, founder of the Bitter marque, used to be the importer for Intermeccanica (and others) for Germany. He was with us on the rally and was amused to see an Indra again, as it had been one of the exotic, high-performance Italian cars that were so unreliable and poorly built, and that cost him (as importer) so much in warranty claims, that he was inspired to build his own cars as he knew it could be done better. So without Intermeccanica building shoddy cars like this there would be no Bitter And the Bitter CD is better looking than the Indra anyway, IMHO

I prefer the Intermeccanica looks. It a pity Bitter didnt stick to the GM V8 for the rest of his creations. Opel straight six is a decent engien but not a V8.

There's a couple in the US with V8 conversions, and if done well it makes for a great car
