A good friend is tempted to buy an A3 2.0T Petrol off the company that he works for. It is 3 years old and 60k. He can have it for a good price.
The one thing that is putting him off is general comments that DSG boxes have a habit of packing up after 60k. I heard this rumour and that was one of the reasons why i moved my DSG 2.0TDi on last year. However, does anybody have actual experience of this, or is it just here-say? If so, what are the potential costs involved?
