170 TDi Service timing?

I know it isn't an Audi... But currently running a Skoda Octavia VRs diesel with what I believe to be the same engine (170).

It is on the flexible swervice setting and 17.5k- and as yet no message re servicing.

Anybody else with this engine- what milage did the first service come up on?

Hi,

On longlife servicing it flags up 600miles (1000km) before it needs a service. On my R32 I managed to get to 18K before it popped up.

If you turn on your ignition and push the trip reset button for 2 seconds it will tell you an estimate miles and time to service.
