Wonder if anyone can help?

I need to get the rear deck of my Griff re-carpeted as the existing has faded and is crumbling away.

I would be really grateful if anyone could recommend someone in the Cambridge area - don't really want to pay for the "dealer mark up" if I can help it.

Many thanks

I have heard good things about Pounds too. He was very helpful when I needed underlay and felt etc. for my car, so I would use him smile.

Another vote for AR Pound - they retrimmed my Chimaera and did a great job...

From memory they needed the car for about 3-4 days.

The price was actually not much more including fitting than a Coverdale carpet set on its own!

Was £400 all in from memory.... Coverdale wanted well over £300 for the carpets alone.

That's pretty good. Do you know if they do bespoke leather work as well?

They had quite a few classics in and were doing all sorts of work so I would certainly expect leather work to be offered.

Martin is a really good guy. There was quite a long leadtime to get my car booked it, but I saw that as a good sign...

Not surprised at prices like that. I was quoted £800-£1000 for a Griff!!!

That's because they have to remove the hanging mechanism for the gold medal and chain that all Griff owners seem to have .. it's a hefty piece of kit hehe

Presumably the gold medal is for having the best car? Unlike the medallion worn by Chim owners?

AR Pound quoted me £450-£600 for a Chim re- carpet depending on carpet quality and they need 3 days.

There was around a 10 week lead time in Dec
