Yes each of the local TVRCC web sites, ours is www.tvrcc-south-yorks.co.uk you can go on the main TVRCC web site and click on "your region" and all the regions are there, joining the TVRCC will give you more access to whats going off, and save you money.

So join the club already! OK, it may initialy cost about £50.00 but you can make that back in member benefits in no time, plus you get an excellent mag to read every month smile

Agreed. Several specialist Tiv insurers (e.g.Mannings) will offer a 10% discount for club membership. Based on a guess of 'average' premiums for chums on here, I expect that would more than swallow the £50 Club joining fee

i fully intend to join but the reason i ask is im all over the place looking at cars and knowing where the nearest dealer for that particular car to be checked over is proving a bit difficult. im based in herts and have a good knowledge of my local indies but beyond that im stuck.for example im due to look at one in ipswich this weekend any ideas?

You could try Kerridges in Needham Market (about 10 miles from Ipswich I think) 01449720222

Would be better to view the car yourself to check colour/general condition/seller etc., then enlist the help of a mobile checker like Rob Ingleby/Michael Caine if you want to pursue the sale.

Michael Caine is based at Castle TVR at Stanstead, so could be worth calling by en route...

Which Model of TVR are you looking for? It's good to go some Club Meets as you can see a number of cars - some of which may be for sale and you can get lots of info on them.......

For instance, this Sunday is the Herts and Beds Meet at The George in Baldock, as well as the Cambs Meet which is at the Swan in Connington (just off the A14). I usually manage to do them both, so if you're around give me a shout. There will be a wealth of knowledge about the good places to look for a car too :-). (Don't worry about not being a member if you come to a meet).
