1170 KG does not say wet or dry though.

1170 kg sounds like wet with driver at least. I had always heard 1060kg claimed as the dry weight.

it'd be interresting to find out what they really weigh (not what the factory quotes). any one got some corner weights?

Got my manual - says 1,100. Power confirmed the same.

Somehow 1,367kg got onto my Permit Circulation so I'm paying more road tax (it's based on weight/power here)

I guess the Swiss must have weighed the car at the initial homologation...but sounds like a lot!
To resolve this they will no doubt weigh the car again - if so I can let u know.

cheers

take it to your local scrap yard!!!
they should have a weighbridge (the further south you go the lighter it might weigh)

update from the Service des Automobiles: it would appear that dry is 1,100kg based on manual
and wet is 1,367kg based on TVR info sent to the Swiss when my Tuscan was homologated here.

Still seems like a lot for liquids, no.....?!

You sure you don't have an avalanche in the boot? TVR states dry weight of 1100KG for a Tuscan 2S, oil, fuel and water would add about 80KG plus a driver. maybe the Swiss reference driver was on the lardy side?
