Ok, I have a challenge for the chronologically inclined amongst you...I got a Seiko divers for Christmas and adjusted the bracelet size myself for a good fit. Unfortunately, once I'd put it back together I realised that the links consisted two small parts rather than just the pin as I had thought. It turns out they use a small (mm) length of metal tube that sits in the link and grips the end of the pin when it is pushed back in. I have lost one of these and have a loose pin as a result.

I have tried Googling to see if I can get these as spares but unfortunately, I have no idea what to call them so am having no joy at all. Does anybody know a) what they are called? b) where I can get them? and c) Would they be a standard part, available from any watch shop or is it a Seiko only spare?

Any help appreciated as this is really irritating!

Cheers,

Gylen

Your best bet is to call Sieko service department and be very nice to them, they may well be able to send you something out. I had a Tissot repaired and dropped into the conversation that "I'm not even sure the strap will fit me" (I got it second hand non working from a mate).
The person on the other end didn't comment on this but on its return they included 3 extra strap links "just in case".

Havent got the number for Sieko to hand but I'm sure someone will be along shortly.

Thanks guys,

popped into a local jeweler today and they advised me to contact Seiko as well as apparently, it's not the sort of thing they have lying around (quite surprised - I thought these sort of things would be pretty standard) so will give them a ring and see what I can turn up...

Thanks again,

Gylen
