Does anyone know how I can remove the pack of 6 CDs from my pioneer CD player once they have become stuck ?

The Cds wont play and the eject button for the 6 pack doesn't seem to work any more.

Check the manual... bound to be a release somewhere. Failing that, e-mail Pioneer.

'Ere! I got that problem too.....

Well nothing stuck in there I assume - but I "inherited" this problem from the previous owner and haven't got around to fixing it 'til having a look this week.

On mine the eject button is broken*, and I can't work out why there's no switch behind it! (Kenwood, though not Pioneer) Looking for any suggestions!

*Would be embarrassing for James Bond, just a PITA for me!

Phil, is there still power to the unit at all? ..it might just be a connector somewhere as it won't eject without 12v.

Cheers,
Matt.

I had this prob, cost £35 to 'fix' it. Post this repair the CDs skipped all the time. Final solution was replace the changer with an MP3 head unit, costing £175 against £150 for a replacement auto-changer.

I gained space back in the boot and can now carry more than twice as many albums on a single MP3 CD than would fit in the changer. The amp in the head unit is also considerably better than that in the pioneer at coping with TVR volume requirements.

Summary if you can't fix it yourself, it might not be worth bothering.

Just my 5 cents,
Steve

Thanks to my friendly neighbourhood TVR dealer the problem is fixed. It needed dismantling and skilllful manual manipulation of the right cogs etc, but the stuck CD was removed + everything still works fine.

However it was pointed out that this might be the start of the end for the unit. Its been let off with a caution for a first offence, next time it'll be replaced.
