How many miles / km's has your BMW done??

Just a bit of fun this topic as I was just thinking that it's really quite astonishing the mileages that modern(ish) cars are now cabaple of covering without any serious failiures!

I've just bought an E46 330ci coupe with 59,000 on it and everything feels as new. However this is nothing compared to a friend of mine who has a E39 528i SE automatic which is used as a general workhorse. It's just recently done over 230,000 miles without any serious failures, and still feels good to drive!

Anybody else had similar or betther longevity from their BMW??

My 330Ci has over 120K miles on the clock, had the car from 10K miles... Starting to feel like it now, new cam sensor last year, now due service, and emission warning light on... MOT due soon so must get fixed...

I had I 1990 e34 525i [now decesed]reached 415000 kilometers 258000 miles, the Mechanicals were perfect but the electrical system failed

Bought my 1989 E30 in 2006 with 42K miles on the clock

A year and a half it's up to 67K. Great car.

I perasonally think with BMW/Merc in general you see a much higher total milage than say Skoda/Ford/fiat - WHY? because the owners keep them going/spend on repairs rather than chop it in.

My '96 E34 540 touring is on 134k or so at the moment. Still goes like the clappers when required
