Has anyone been contacted by the ACO re their ticket allocation for the LM Classic yet? I was expecting to hear something in Jan....I know it's early days, just don't want to get missed.

Tickets aren't a problem for the Classic since the numbers expected are about 1/3rd of those for the "4 hours in June. I wouldn't worry at all if I was you.

Cheers lowdrag. Not over worried, it's just that I've requested camping, grandstand and paddock access too, and I'm not 100% confident that my request was logged with the ACO.

I don't think they'll get anywhere near looking at Classic orders until they've got the allocations out for the 24 hour. Personally I don't think we'll hear for another 2 or 3 months.

I'd not use the word "worry"....but....what worries me is that the Karting site is available online along with the admission tickets and grandstands. If I've not got MB camping allocated then I'd rather get the tickets sorted online now rather than wait a few months.

I have used the ACO website to book and pay for tickets for 2008 Le Mans Classic. There is no indication on the site about timing of tickets delivery so I called ACO and was told they will be sent out in April. So I have around three months to worry about the efficiency of ACO's new online ticketing system! R.

Here I reproduce the document I got from Petersport quoting the cars that will be admitted to the interior parking and you'll note that this iincludes all pre 1966 cars plus those on the attached list. A photo will be necessary for them to issue the ticket

I booked our tickets this week through Travel Destinations. They have their own private site inside the circuit opposite Tetre Rouge corner.

Booking via the website isn't a problem, it's that allocation email I got in December saying they confirmed receipt of the request and will send an allocation in the next few months. So tickets are now on sale but I'm unsure of whats going on with allocations.

This is why I use an agency for 24hr tickets/sites to save on the uncertainty.

Lucky boy! Is that just the response email saying they've received your request, or an actual allocation requesting payment type thing?

Track laps???? Tell me more....

I have organised a group booking for the past 2 events, we have alolocated parking in the club area and the option to book to do parade laps, last time we got a single lap due to some fool crashing... We should have 2 laps.

The event is not orgainsed by the ACO, but by a French Car Tours company...

I have paid deposits for tickets, grandstands, parking and track laps, and have had the email confirming my booking.
