Hello all
Just wanted to share a vid of my lovely old 190E 2.0 auto, which I've owned for four years now. It's a modern classic - innit. For full details on the car, hear my commentary at www.motors.co.uk/real - scroll down to the sample videos. You might even want to enter the competition.

Ha ha! Great video - the analogue clock is one of the absolute best bits of my 911's cockpit. I thought I was the only one that loved that sort of thing smile. Make sure you keep the "old bus" looking so lovely - definitely a classic.

yes I love the gauges in my 964, in fact I love the whole crazy dashboard. Ergonomics? - who gives a sh*t!
You learn where everything is pretty quickly anyway.

The layout is a bit crazy, but the attention to detail is astonishing - the solid "clunk" when you pull out the knobs, for example, never fails to make me smile. My favourite thing though, thinking about it, is the little dial that adjusts the intermittent wiper sweep speed. Brilliant. Anyway, now that we've established that I'm a nerd, I'll apologise for the thread hijack and leave you in peace!

There is a guy who lives close to me and has a 1986 190 i think from new , he totally abuses it i think its only ever had about 3 oil changes in its life, he lives by the rule that if it isnt broke dont fix it

Not many cars you could abuse for that long and get away with it
