X1/9 wheel upgrade / arch extension advice needed
Discussion
Which integrale? 8v and 16v alloys should fit being 4 stud obviously Evo wheels won't as they are 5 stud. The best wheels on an X1/9 are fat 13s or fat 14s. The Abarth ran 8x13" at the rear with wide arches.
Only two types of arch look good on the X1/9 full Abarth Prototipo or Dallara. Eurosport did a Dallara style full wing kit but I doubt you'll find any around.
The X1/9 Abarth kit is available from Guy Mourenhout in Belgium.
You can't however do this properly with out spending money. As a Fiat owner I'm sure this is not something you want to do.

Thanks for the advice, as you state the four stud 98mm pcd is required.
Still wondering whether in the case of 15" Integrale wheels they would look over large and whether they fit inside existing wheel arches?
(The link to the supplier in belgium is really useful, dallara kits available from Cascu).
Anyway if extensions were needed I did some research in the meantime and found that Fiat 126 group2 arches from
www.fibrecar.it
Would do the job with minimal change required, without breaking the bank.

Some very nice ones here. Note the Abarth replica has 131 Abarth wheels not the 13"

Just spoken to him....

I think its that kit he's got. He sold the deck lid and rear wing on ebay. He's keeping the fibreglass doors for his project but he does still have the nose cone and the front and rear wings.
The complete kit cost him over £1400 last year. He's after 500 for the wings and nose cone. He also said to make it clear that the rear wings need some cutting and shutting to make them fit.... not suprising really.
