What happens when your cross Trials and parkoir?

That is amazingly cool. I had to do a double take to make sure he wasn't pedalling as it looked so much like bicycle trials the amount of control he had and the way he throws the bike around. On the other hand, no number plate and non road legal bike so he could be considered le urban menace...
He's nothing Special. I see better at the weekend. When you can do that but in Mud and or across loose rocks what he's doing is pretty easy to be Honest. As for the staircase bit try going up a shale shope into the smallest arch of a bridge and then turning to exit when the flags mean you have to duck to avoid the brickwork.

Try going to an indoor event. You've missed the main UK one at Sheffield but one of the organisers runs the "X-Treme Trials Team" which is quite an entertaining show. The skills the rider is showing mean that what he is doing is pretty easy. Trials events are generally held in and across streams, rocks, deep gulleys or areas with lots of tree roots. I was at Tong today where the second section took the riders down a earth bank over rocks, across a stream with rocks in it then up another stream over more rocks before exiting over roots. Let's see the guy in the video try that!!

I think you're missing the point .... we've all seen trials before and there is no denying the technical skills involved are greater than exhibited here. What makes this video cool in my opinion is:
1) The urban setting
2) The fact its ‘street’ riding using existing structures instead of a contrived indoor course.
3) Balls involved due to the illegal nature [particularly the ride over the bridge arches].
Thanks

And every now and again watch out for an "urban" trial. Better riders on a "street" course. As for the "balls" required it looks like a french city. They can get away with it look at Remy Julian's Stunt shows as an example of the Health and Safety applied over there. Here Plod would be all over him.
I think Remy Julienne might have had permission to do his stunts! I have experience of the French police getting upset with me on my downhill bike in the Alps, so they are no more lenient. Also, just because this guy isn't going over mud and rocks does not mean that he couldn't. Give the guy a break. He has had the balls to go out there and do it/film it/post it, and it is entertaining. I am sure he wasn't setting about trying to prove he was the best trials rider in the world... he was having fun... lighten up!

i *really* enjoyed that video. give him some credit - it was excellent - particularly the bridge

and yes, i just get the feeling that he could do more than that.
