Go to some race tracks on test days and get chatting to people. See if they need some help.

Just applied to my local F1 team yesterday smile - also I understand a couple of others are looking for IT people. BUT it is a very close nit community so I don't hold too much hope.

Edit
Just realised you are a mechanical "tech" from some of your other threads....either way follow the advice from others, hone your skills but also become more diverse?

Try and find ways to "network" with other motorsport people (get away from the consumer market) F3/GT3 etc etc Get good recommendations of your work so maybe a word of mouth recommendation may fall in place

Ah one of my acquaintances has turned his back on F1 Teams - he's now on the FIA's books as a scrutineer
