URGENT ADVICE PLEASE

Jag S Type R front ball joints.
Mine are worn, the dealer has advised that ball joints are not sold seperate but as an upper arm assembly. Am in Dubai and the cost is frightening. Does anyone know if they are available as seperate items, if so where I can I get a pair? Have a friend due to visit in a couple of weeks time and if they are available then I will request him do the honours.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am about to invest in Halfords to secure a 12 month supply of bicycle clips. D

Ruepot, 4-5 years ago I had a 4.0L S-Type which needed the same parts as yours. I can confirm it comes as one assembly and I was told it was not possible to obtain the bits separately. I seem to recall the assembly was around £1500. Luckily, I had a service contract which picked up the total bill.

I've had a 4.2L SE the past 4 years and I have not had the same problem with it (yet!).
