Battery Grip for D80 - worthwhile?

As per title really, I quite fancy a battery grip but two doubts at the moment

Is it worth £100, do folks keep them on all the time or are they too bulky and end up in the kit bag?

Am not really bothered by the extra battery capacity as I don't need it - it's more for protrait shots.

I'm only going by my old 20D, but after having th grip for a while then trying it again without it, it felt horrible! I think they are very close to being a "must have"...for me anyway.

Yep. Once you've used one, you'll never want to be without it. Makes landscape handling much easier too.

Yes, transforms it and hold 2 batteries so really long usage time. Recommended!
