I thought the VXR8 brakes were suppose to be very good...? I know they are larger Dia than the AP setup.

If they don't fit or are inferior to the VXR8 jobbies, I'll register 1st interest in them... wink

No. The new brakes are rear good. Sell them and buy a blower.

2nd hand AP's - calipers very handy at the right price. pads and discs - depends on mileage on them whether I'd want them on my car to be honest as 2nd hand parts for brakes - not somewhere I'd normally want to save money. Sure someone will get a bargain though. Would have thought you'd get more for your Monaro selling it with them still on it though in comparison to selling the parts separately?

Hi
Just back from a week on business, driving our HSV E Series GTS in Germany. Brakes are fantastic, so no worries with a VXR8. In fact the front pad area on a VXR8 is the same as the HSV Coupe 6 Piston brake package, but work at a bigger radius. The VXR8 brakes are better than the previous package so no need to upgrade in the same way as before.
Phil.
