I had a friend call me out of the blue on Saturday - I thought he had gone to America but turns out he had moved back locally .. and surprise - he now has a bike.

So we met up and had a nice ride up to Newlands Corner on the A25.. luckily the weather was mild and the rain held off.

Quite a few nice bikes there - plenty of new stuff, couple of Aeriel square 4's and another mate on a V Max with the biggest rear wheel and tyre I've ever seen
- think it was a 335 !

Another guy with us on a GSXR1100 - was having the odd huge flame and backfire .. guess the fueling is not quite right yet ..

Don't think I've overtaken so many cars on one journey for quite a few year's.. boy it's great to be back on a bike

Anyone else go to Newlands..?
