Brands 20th - anyone there
Discussion
Anyone from here is attendance. Great Gold Track day as usual, very relaxed and the rain stayed off - miraculously.
I was in the old 944, making relatively pedestrian progress, based on my modest ability.
Does anyone know what the red Mk Golf GTI has under his bonnet - he was in a completely different league.

Popped in to have a gander. You all looked to be having a lot of fun. Saw a black Golf cocking it's inside back leg for about 500yards down the back straight and through Surtees. Fantastic!!I was in the old 944, making relatively pedestrian progress, based on my modest ability.

I had a chat with the guy with the Golf he came over just before the open session.
The red one had a 2.0lt Turbo Audi engine producing around 380bhp and weighed if I remember correctly 980Kg with fully rose jointed suspension.it was pretty dam quick.
Good day and not to many red flags.
I was in Group 2 in the Blue Boxster S.

Aahh that goes some way to explaining it, but he can clearly drive as well. I don't think I've ever seen one car so dominant on a track against some pretty good cars
You were going well in the Boxster
JamesYou were going well in the Boxster
Thanks, I think people underestimate how well a Boxster goes and handles.
