Washer Jet

Hi guys I need to change the washer jet on my S3 and i cant see how to remove it as you can't get to the underneath and i don't want to damage the paintwork trying to prise it off ! Any ideas

I suspect you will find a nut on the underside accessible (not very) behind the dash... you might get to it from the passenger side footwell ?

I had a similar problem on my V8s a year or so back. The jet had broken, just above the retaining nut under the bodywork. Having purchased a new jet, the only way I could replace it, as I couldn't get to or see the end of the jet from inside the car was the following:

Pull old plastic pipe from behind dash down into drivers foot well
Connect a new peice of pipe to the new jet, minus retaining nut, and feed through hole, whilst someone is feeling for the end of the pipe behind the dash
Connect the two hoses, I used a non return valve, and secure jet in place using silicone sealant
Push hose out of site behind dash.

I suggest starting point would be to carefully drill the old jet out first, probably best to locate hose first if possible.
