What type of gauges were fitted to the Mk IV Granturas when new? Are they TVR unique or the same as any other car (Triumph, MG??).
Some, or possibly even all, of the gauges in my car (1967 Mk IV) have been replaced with other units troughout the years so I don't know what they really are supposed to look like.

New Smiths "replica" gauges are available in two different styles ("Classic" and "Cobra" ). Do any of these look the same as the original gauges?

Help is much apprechiated!

Lifting my own question again.

Does anybody know where I can by a new tachometer gauge and a new oil pressure gauge with the correct look to fit my 1800S Mk IV?
Currently my tachometer is from Autometer and that does not look good! The oil pressure gauge appears to be original but is missing the sending unit (lost when the engine was replaced?). Might be broken?

Thanks

I have bought a complete set of Smiths Classic Gauges for my race car and they do look the part. Available in mechanical and electrical.

Demon Tweeks will have them in stock (the rev counter range and number of cylinder options ware wide and you will find one to fit I'm sure)
