Looking at a 355 at the moment now the car has a sports exhaust but still has cats, is it difficult to take out the cats ?

What sort of cost is it ?

Are there any onther options i.e. by pass pipes

I am not worried about the MOT

Many thanks
Phib

Pretty straightforward job by the looks of it. Not sure what you mean by mentioning bypass pipes as an alternative... that is your only option (unless you're going to fit high-flow cats, which I assume is not the case as you say 'remove').

Don't expect any power increase, expect muchos exhaust fumes and muchos noise (maybe too much with a sports exhaust, but that is, of course, purely subjective). I thought about decatting, but ultimately decided against it due to the added complication of finding a 'friendly' MOT station and possible resale issues if a buyer has the same concerns).

Not sure about a 355 but my 348 de-cat pipes where about £150 from memory.

About £200. Try Verdi's or Scuderia Sales and Spares.

Quicksilver do decat pipes, ask nicely and they'll even give you a discount wink I am going this route when I get mine in March, Quicksilver sports system and decat pipes, should come to about £1400 with the vat.
