"the cerbie" or "the beast", depending on the prevailing mood.

Sometimes something more Anglo-Saxon, depending on the car's prevailing mood.

Mine is simply known as the 'flash-car', started by my 4 year old son and now my 20 month year old son (although it sounds more like cash-car!!) - so we all call it that now!!

Spent over and hour arguing with a friend on a drive back from Daventry after a service trying to choose a suitable name for my new toy...

What a nightmare, what it must be like when you have a kid !!!

Anyhow the name 'Scarlet' was decided upon.... And what a beauty she is!!!!

Samson, or the "Beast"

Samson is supposed to be alliteration, but it is stretching the rules a little.

We call ours the 'kit car' due a somewhat ill informed comment by one of my wifes uncles.

'TVR? crap they are, kit cars made from old ford parts, made of plastic, fold in half in an accident'

I just laughed and agreed before asking him which bit of his Rover 213 was Rover, which bit was Honda and which bit was not crap.

Before I unveil mines nickname, I have to stress that it was the wife's idea and not mine, honest!!!

She came up with "Vesty", What? I hear you say, well let me explain,

She says that it's a beautiful curvaceous girly on the outside, but a nasty beast of a boy underneath, which in her eyes makes it a transvestite!!!

Therefore Vesty for short, I'm not sure I like it too much, but it seems to have stuck.

Mine never had a name, but it does now!

My eight year old has christened her 'Concorde'

Very fitting and VERY appropriate timing.

Go create some weather...
It's a road legal Concorde!
