e39 5 series car stereo

The car stereo in my e39 doesnt seem to be working anymore. It is the integrated sat nav version, and while the sat nav is fine - there is no response from the car stereo when the power button is pushed (the led doesnt come on). Anyone with experiences of this, is it likely to be the fuse?

mine did exatly the same as this,in left hand side of the boot is radio and sat nav ,unplug radio connection and plug back in to reset.bit fiddly to do but works fine now.

as an aside, is it obvious which is the radio connection?

yup,if i remember right its a large multiplug,may have to take bracket of to get to it though.

managed to fix this by disconnecting the battery and this 'resets' the car. Radio came back on - apparently it is quite common.
