Winehouse in "crack binge" shocker
Discussion

According to The Sun, Winehouse "took hit after hit of the deadly drug after a 19-minute binge in which she snorted powdered ecstasy and cocaine".
The Sun says that the video footage was taken just after 0500 GMT last Friday morning.
The footage is grainy and appears to be camera phone quality, while a date and time in the corner of the screen suggests it was filmed on a video camera.

Regardless of the why's and wherefore's of the drug taking itself - my question is this.
Why on Earth would you do take half the drugs under the sun in full view of presumably a random with a camera? Surely a friend of hers wouldn't have taken the footage?
How stupid can you get?
Drugs supplied by The Sun probably in another 'clever' sting operation.
I don't know what people's problem is with Winehouse. People coveted shit bands like the Stones for years and laughed at their extravagant drug habits and yet she gets slated for it.
Just goes to show what a
the average Sun reader is.

Problem is we don't seem to have anyone in that middle ground of hoovering up the marching powder at after-show parties but getting on with the task of making bloody good music afterwards, we've got just two extremes,
a) Take anything and everything and get a reputation (no doubt egged on by journos) for stumbling about in public places and being too off their head to produce anything but a cursory, phoned-in performance.
b) Be irritatingly squeaky-clean and earnest, pretentiously-still-middle-class save the world types, who are of course so pathetically unimaginative all they can come up with is banal advertisement soundtracks.
I blame the disappearance of the Commer van as a means of band transport, personally.

i reckon lilly allen falls into your classification of middle ground a) Take anything and everything and get a reputation (no doubt egged on by journos) for stumbling about in public places and being too off their head to produce anything but a cursory, phoned-in performance.

I believe drugs are more potent and dangerous today. Plus, with all that is known of their ill effects compared to 40 years ago.....one is just stupid to do that.I don't know what people's problem is with Winehouse. People coveted shit bands like the Stones for years and laughed at their extravagant drug habits and yet she gets slated for it.
