I think it used to be Cars International's (hence the plate - I'm sure thats been on a few other bits, such as a 456 "Shooting Break&quot

The spotter seems to think it could be an LM. This car ^^ was entered in the Gumball 3000.

This is a list of the colours of the LM cars, so I assume it could be one of these:

XP LM Prototype, Historic Orange, McLaren promotional car
LM1 Black
LM2 Historic Orange
LM3 Historic Orange
LM4 Black
LM5 Historic Orange

This seems to be a model of this exact car and it claims to be a 'McLaren F1 GTR Goodwood'


This site says its 'des Mclaren F1 GTR Long Tail de route'

It's not an LM, just a GTR race car converted by the factory for road use and painted in Papaya Orange.

The other orange car is a short tail F1 race car also converted. It has never been on a Gumball as far as I know, though you could ask the owner as he's on here (not flemke, the other F1 owner).

The F1 that was on the Gumball was indeed an F1 LM.

I think a show at Oulton Park on the 24th March, to out do the guy that arrives annually in the Veyron!
