I bought a washing machine on Ebay for £10 in 2001, plus fuel to collect it cost me about £16.

Still going strong although I have repaired it, door catch etc.

So, whats you best ever bargain?

Had a dodgy washing machine in 2001 scrap man wanted £20 to take it away, put it on ebay and some guy gave me a tenner for it......

I bought a brush 10 years ago for £1.50. Still got it today, and use it regularly. Only had 4 new handles and 3 new heads

Probably a brand new 40-piece socket set for £5 from Homebase. Or a Sierra 4x4 bought for £10 and the engine sold for £100.

Vauxhall Senator 3.0i CD - bought for £40 + £5 for the guy to deliver it, no MoT, been off the road for 3-4 years. Cleaned up & sold three weeks later for £180 .

A brand new factory 3000GT Mk.2 rear bumper off the bay of E for £9.99 + £10 p&p - RRP from Mitsubishi £679. I love it when people don't know the value of what they're selling

When I was a kid (12-13ish) every day on the way to school I used to buy a packet of 10 sweets for 10p and then I'd sell them individually for 2p each making a 100% GP if I sold them all. And if I didn't sell them all I'd eat the stock. Looking back, it was the perfect business model!
