Selftrade ISA question

In the process of opening a stocks and shares mini-ISA with Selftrade, but seems to be taking an age. Has anyone else here opened one, and if so how long did it take? I've got a reference number, and when I phoned them I was told by a generally disinterested chap that they'd received the application and it was ongoing. That was last week, which was itself a week after the initial online request, so that's now two weeks with zero (e)mail confirmation either way? Is that normal?

I've an ISA with Selftrade, but I opened it a long time ago. Their admin used to be excellent, but they appear to be having problems at the moment as I have had 2 admin errors on my account in the last few months.

I'm just getting a wall of silence. I can't think of any reason why they'd have problems setting it up (decent credit history and all that), but I'm getting annoyed at having to keep phoning them.
