Never had one myself but my sister had an MX5, now has a 323 and my brother has the newer 323. The one thing I can say is that none of them has ever had even the smallest thing go wrong so if reliability is a factor then it looks like a good choice.

Depends what you want it for I guess?

Mazda = Ford = reliability not quite up there with Toyota or Honda (if you wanna be picky).

Barry,
If it's an MX5 in the £12k range, I've just put one up on the classifieds for a friend. She's really looked after it...blah, blah, blah....!!

Right then, back to business....What bikes are you looking at??!!

biggrin 12 K right....jeeez u make me laugh...some of us are poor and are on half wages cos we've been off with a fcked back laugh Looking in the 6k region so far I've seen a decnt enough Mazda2 1.4 antares..v low mileage for 5k..seem nice enough..its for her..just want to make sure its reliable as im stuck in house so she out a lot on her own.

Business side of things...i fancy the Triumph Daytona's seen a couple at 3/4k, I would go for a decent Honda in that price bracket..fancy something different from the Fazer...really want an R1..but maybe too much of a step..anyways mate it will be quite a while....gotta get her a decent enough little run around first..get in good books..might get that R1 in summer if back is OK laugh NOT..

Cheers mate thumbup

Thanks for all your thoughts on this horrible non bike topic...I'll tell her i done this and hopefully as punishment I'll be teathered to the bed and lashed....can always dream i guess....tongue out
