New tyres for Z4C?

I'm thinking of getting rid of the runflats and putting on some proper tyres.

What have others gone for?

I was thinking either:

Michelin Pilot Sport

or

Goodyear Eagle F1

Also has anyone tried something like the Yokohama A048 as a trackday tyre on a Z4?

lot of banter but also some good ideas out there.

Currently a mate has tipped me off onto a VERY good deal on Faulken FK452's which are about a 1/3 of the price of Michelin SP2's for a full set. So even if they're not as good as the reviews say you can't really loose.

I (and no doubt others on here) can not vouch for the PS2s enough. Excellent, excellent grip, and very acceptable wear rates...

As said above the Falken 452's are outstanding and the fact you can get 4 for the price of 2 Michelins is a real bonus..

I've not done this yet but just put Continental Contactsport2's (I think!) on my 120 and have been impressed so far. Had Goodyear F1's before on my 330d which would be my first choice based on their performance.

I have a recent tyre test, albeit done on 3 Series, which might have some helpful info if you'd like it. Also Mytyres website has a link to reviews of each tyre from users.
