I know a really good ex chips away guy. Now setup on his own. Does a good job and charges reasonably. He has the use of a spray booth so has taken my bonnet away before for complete spray. PM me if you want his contact details.

My only problem with this is that I dont have a garage and if he were to take bits of the car then I would be left with a problem. Does he have his own premises?

He'll probably conme to you but with all due respect to jilapau's recommendation, I used a Chipsaway guy (not ex) once (NOT on my TVR) and it was a really rubbish job. Might as well not have bothered. Disgraceful - I'm sorry I didn't look closer berfor paying him. But this guy will almost certainly be less expensive than Hilton.

I went to Hilton last week with a friend to drop his Chimaera off there for some very litht rear end damage where someone had run into him. They seem to specialise in M.Benz and TVR. If ever you want to see how it should be done, in my opinion, there people have got it exactly right. I saw a couple of T350s, a Cerb and a Chim in there that day and some very impressive finished jobs awaiting collection. Hence my current enthusiasm!!
