Heaters and central locking questions

Just after a bit of info.

1. Which air vents should i get hot air out of when heaters on full and selected to either windscreen or feet or anywhere for that matter. The heat does go to either screen or feet but don't seem to get anything from driver/passenger vents. I'm aware of the seperate cold air fan but this only blows from the drivers right hand side vent.........is this correct??

2. When i press the central locking button in the middle of the door opener it illuminates green and locks the doors...fine. When i press it again the relay makes a noise but the light stays green and the doors stay locked until i open the door......again is this correct??

I have checked the bible but to no avail.

Mine stays locked until you open the doors, it says this is correct in the bible.

Mine is the same as regards the side vents with the passenger one being slightly less worse than the drivers one. The pipework to the drivers side is a real bodge with several bits of pipe of differing diameters slide over each other. tried to seal them together with gaffa tape to seal it all up but have come to the conclusion that it wasn't worth the effort.
The central locking on mine is exactly as you describe.

You should get heat from all the vents. For winter driving I have the passenger side vent and left hand pie warmer vent turned off, with the drivers vent on full and the pie warmer right vent on about half. With teh fan on full blast and heater on max this keeps my hands lovely and warm even on the coldest day :-)

ALways have the under dash leg warmer vent on the drivers side closed as my legs and feet get warmed enough by the engine and transmission !

Your central locking sounds normal, mine does that too

Regarding heaters still a bit puzzled, i,m getting a slight wisp from passenger side, nothing from 'pie warmers' nothing from drivers except when on the cold air fan. Looks like its another on my back weekend!!
