I'm going to see the Pigeon Detectives (forcing eldest child along with me (16)). At 43 am I going to look stupid??

Nah, I went to see the Manic Street Preachers in, I think, 1997 and my mum came along with me, she would have been 47.

My 58 year old father wanted to accompany me to see the Kings of Leon.

Luckily he couldn't get a ticket.

Not at all , my 62 year old mum wanted me to take her to see the Foo fighters but sadly they were all sold out. So it looks like she's getting some bath salts and a pair of slippers for her birthday instead wink

Don't worry about it. You couldn't possibly feel more out of place than I did when the family went to see My Chemical Romance at the O2 last year. I don't think I've ever seen so many 14 year old girls in one place and I'm not sure my ears will ever recover from the screaming...

Incidentally I saw Pigeon Detectives supporting Kaiser Chiefs at Earls Court and they were bloody brilliant! Top stuff - Enjoy!!
