I'd like one of those fancy draught-excluder type things to pop in the rear window to stop it creasing when folded down. I have a needle, thread and female - all I need now is a dimensioned sketch. Would someone please ask their other half for a 'pattern' I think it's called in chick-speak.

I think you are after a folded towel ;-) ......

Does this mean you're keeping the car!?

See you around hopefully!

I use a length of 1/2" poly pipe insulation, cut to size, costs a few pence from a DIY superstore

Soft woollen blanket cut to length, rolled up around a garden cane, cable tied up and stored using velcro on the boot carpet on top of the fuel tank.

My good lady found two towels that matched the colour of the car and had them sown together to make a long and thin towel yes the perfect shape.
