For those of you who've not yet booked a Channel crossing for the Le Mans Classic or the 24 Hours, P&O are offering a good deal. See the attached link.
Cheers, Simon.

It's always the way mate. I normally book early and then my mates drop on a special offer like that one. However, I always book hotels early and save a few quid that way while they pay full whack.

ps .... it looks like we're sticking with speedferries ..... we don't need

Dear Mr *********,

Thanks for your email.

I can confirm that all of our promotional fares are subject to strictly limited availability, and are advertised as "from" fares. If you are obtaining quotes that are higher than that advertised, then the allocation for this offer has been filled on that particular sailing. I would therefore recommend that you amend your dates and times in order to take advantage of this offer.

I am sorry for any disappointment that may have been caused and I would like to stress that it is not our intention to 'con' our passengers. It is a standard practice for a business to advertise its lowest fares as a means of attracting business. These prices are available at times when demand is low however, this rate is only available for a limited number of spaces. Once these are taken it will revert to the normal rate. I do not agree that this is dishonest or misleading and I trust you can appreciate that it is a standard practice to restrict offers and apply terms and conditions.

I hope that you will not be deterred from using our services again in the future.

If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us, by fax on 08707 625425, or by email at the following address: customer.services@poferries.com.
Yours sincerely .....

Brilliant.

So they offer one person a fare at £25 and thus they can advertise it as such?

Ah well. All the WRR gang are getting a fixed price of £38 return with the Norfolk Line.
