ST500 - Stripes. Any one had them removed

About to buy a Focus ST 500 and considering getting the dealer to remove the bonnet and roof stripes. Anyone had this done and was it OK?

I'm pretty sure all they do is use warm air and just peel them off

a couple of members on focusstoc.com have had it done by the dealers with no problems at all
