same guy owns both cars, and it's no surprise that a big power supra can leave an LP640, look on youtube and you'll even see a nissan patrol doing it, I still know which I'd rather be driving, and it's not a toyota (patrol obviously ).

The Lambo is trying and very hard but the Supra is just modded too much for the LP to keep up.

Sounded like the lambo was trying to me. Not surprising it was outgunned though, yanks have been able to get 5-600 HP from n/a cars since the 60's. Japanese tuners can easily approach 1000 BHP from their own turbo models. You pays your money and takes your choice. There will always be another man with a bigger cigar, so leave competitions to the willy wavers.

Toyota used to over engineer everything back in the late 80s, a well built supra block can actually live with 1000bhp for a surprisingly long time.

As someone has already said, the supra might be fast but you can't buy style.

and how do you explain the part of the video where Ron Jeremy in the LP640 (well that is who he looks like) pull ahead of the supra then all of a sudden turbo engages and leaves the LP for dead?? It has 1200bhp there is nop denying it has more pwer plus weight. I would like to see the same race against the twin turbo murci some yank has created.

For those with a short attention span you need to go about a minute in to see the LP really on song. That said, the supra still drives by at a ridiculous pace once it's on boost.

I'm sorry but I still think the lambo driver is pants.
I'm happy to believe that the Toyota could be an easy winner on any occassion, but that Lambo is not getting opened up here.
