turbo help

Hi does anyone know if a garett t2 of a late 80s nisan silvia turbo will have a dynamic seal or a carbon seal? its being used on my VW so i need a carbon seal to stop oil from being drawn through

I'm confused. Why would bolting a turbo onto a different brand of vehicle require a carbon seal?

the turbo is now being used as a pull through instead of a blow through

Its not a fantastick pic but it shows you it i havent run the engine yet im still rewireing the car but if it dosent have the corect seals in the turbo it will draw oil through when i shut off

Got ya. I'd be amazed if it had a carbon seal as standard, to be honest. Email Garrett- they're very helpful (unlike some other turbo manufacturers that could be mentioned....).
