Hi everyone,
I was hoping that you could advise, guild me in the right direction with regards to a TVR.
To cut a long story short, I like you all started always have wanted a TVR and am now in a position to purchase one. Unfortunately like allot of you I'm not in a position to have it as a summer car or even a weekend car and will be used daily. My mileage fluctuates annually so I can't say that I will do 15k a year nor 6k but as I said it will be used daily in one capacity or another.
I have spent allot of time looking at all sorts of garages, and streams on here around usage, servicing so I'm fully aware of what I'm getting into and basically can't wait to buy one.....BUT, I was looking at a T350c as recommended by a number of TVR suppliers as being perfect for what I want, but then was thrown a spanner by another saying a Mk2 Tuscan would be also a good option with more space in the cabin and boot almost taking on a grande tourer idea, which then throws into the mix a Cebera.
Arhhhh WHAT DO I DO!! haha please advise what your thoughts are....
I've seen a fantastic Tuscan but its 2001, so not a MK2! does this make a massive difference with regards to build, reliability etc etc??? I have no idea.
As I said my initial thought was to get a T350c and had my mind set until I was thrown a spanner!! haha am I better going for one of the other two or should I just count them out, please list reasons.
I'm just trying to return my search to just one model again, and discount the other two.

Dont think that this will help you much but....
Do you want to be able to drive with the top down at all.
If not then Cerb or 350.
If yes Tuscan.
Dont know about MK2 better build quality. its been said that MK2's are better than 1's but Ithink that MK1 are pretty good.
I drive my MK1 Tuscan daily and enjoy every minute.
As has been said to you, the Tuscan boot space is great as are a lot of the others like the Griff and Chimaera.
Great car for touring Europe in.

I was looking at a Cerbera or a Tuscan. Really like the Cerbera's looks and fancied a V8 but as has been said already, open topped driving is great as well. Eventually decided to go for a Tusc, mainly because I found one close to my house in the right colour and work already been carried out.
I don't drive mine daily and haven't had it long enough to tell you about reliability and servicing costs but I do know I love it and can't stop smiling everytime I see it in the drive, let alone get behind the wheel.
If like you said you know what you're letting yourself in for and buy one with full service and repair history, can't see you going wrong with any of them.

Thank you for all your views, as I expected there are some split opinions but all good information at the end of the day. You lot are the experts being owners and a status I hope to be soon.
Please keep the information/views coming, as it’s good and allows me expand my knowledge along with weigh up the pro's and cons to make my mind up.

I think everyone has faced this dilema at some point I know I certainly did and the best thing for me was to go down to your local dealers and have a good look around all the different models and find out practically which one suits you best - not which one the dealer wants to sell you.
For me I wanted a big boot to carry golf clubs etc and lots of luggage and booze from trips abroad, and therefore the t350 was out.
It also depends whether or not you want the option of a sunshine roof, I did and also only needed 2 seats therfore the tuscan was for me.
Not sure between the mk1 and mk2 I like both but dont break the bank buying the car and then not have enough left over for repairs/servicing/tyres etc
Or spend less on the tvr and get a run around so the tvr can keep warm in the garage on those days when the roads are icy and salty!
