Hi

My insurance is due for renewal tomorrow and apart from A-plan has anyone found any good places to insure a 3.0l as 28 year old with 2 sp30's?

I think I did mine through BMW Insurance, who were as competitive as anyone. Online insurers tend to be cheapest. I've used Churchill and Tesco before with no problems.

Only prob with online is, the ones I tried at least, don't like any mod's. I only had a performance air filter but it was hugely more expensive unless I ditched it.

I have just insured my 2.5 with Sainsbury's. £380

Elephant have been the cheapest by long way for the last few of my cars, wheather they're the best is another matter

I have used BMW Insurance before and like them as they always make sure the cars go back to the dealer network for repairs.

Adrian Flux seem to be quite competitive - and prepared to haggle if you get a better quote. IIRC they threw in UK/European breakdown assistance at a silly (very cheap) price. Useful as my car had just gone out of warranty (with inclusive breakdown cover). Definitely worth a call.
