Or does anyone else have problems with the fuse cover on the driver's side (by right knee) falling off? Previous owner looks to have had a go holding it in place with sticky backed velcro, we're trying carpet tape now....

Yes, common problem. Both of mine have had screws put in them!

OMG, I wasn't actually sure that it would be!!! Thanks, we did think whether screws might be the next option, OH suggested superglue until I pointed out it's an Alfa and with its notorious electrical faults that's where the fuses are...........................

Woohoo I've found one common problem that my 156 doesn't have!
