As per subject, just wondered what is available for the M400?
Mine could probably do with being replaced this year and would like something with a bit more bark.

If you want quality, looks and proven results of appoximatly 40hp then get a Roush exhaust. Just make sure you upgrade the Fuel pump and wiring too.Mine could probably do with being replaced this year and would like something with a bit more bark.

There are others, of course, and no-body afaik has done head to head comparison on the same car, so not a lot of point in the 'mines better than yours' debate. Pays yer money and takes yer choice. I went the Roush route and am very happy with it (had it over 2 yrs now). Don't bother decatting - it's just makes the car noisy (for most track days) and illegal on road, and there's no noticeable difference in power output (at least not on an M400). Roush use a very free-flowing 100 cell cat converter.

Been away on my hols for the last week and forgot all about this thread.
How much will a rousch set me back unfitted? Can they supply an uprated fuel pump and loom too?
Cheers
Iain
I had the Rousch system + ceramic coated + fuel pump and loom. £2500ish How much will a rousch set me back unfitted? Can they supply an uprated fuel pump and loom too?

I fitted. Easy to do as long as the old system comes off without a fight.

Sound good. Will I need a remap or will it be ok without?
Iain
To be safe I would have a before and after rolling road session. Although mine wasn't remapped the RR session showed up some idle problems and a few other things which were fixed as part of the exhaust being fitted.Iain

To take real advantage of the exhaust, you must get it mapped after.
Mine showed 385hp and 360ft lbs after with cats in place. Trevor at Roush said I could expect a 8-10hp boost without the cats.
I have removed the cats and although the extra power (if there is any) is not noticable, I did notice a slightly revier/free engine.
And what a fantastic noise!
Forgot to mention, although it is pretty obvious, mine is a GTO3, not M400.
