Will these fit an E36?

Does anyone know if these wheels will fit an E36 M3 Evo saloon? BMW M-series wheels, 18".

Front pair - Wheels 8J x18 IS47 BMW part no.1095 340 - Tyres 225 / 40 / 18

Rear pair - Wheels 8.5J x 18 IS50 BMW part no. 1095 311 - Tyres 255 / 35 / 18

Rear part number should be 341 not 311, guess a typo?
They are from E46, they are the same as these and they say they fit an E36:

Do you need 18"s?
Just thought I'd ask, are these are for your track car?
I'd stick to 17" unless you need 18" for bigger brake conversion. 18's will be heavier (especially BMW rims), you want the unsprug weight as low as possible on a track car.

Cheers Mroad, yes they're for the track car and I take your point. I'm thinking that I'd like a spare set of wheels for road use so I can run the other wheels to slicks! I also can't resist the idea of getting some bigger rims on it. Purely for vanity's sake!

Does your car have a cage?
Unless things have changed recently for trackdays then slicks are usually only allowed on cars with cages.
