Are the radiator hoses on a 500 TVR specific or are they off something ? Plainly one of them is simply a straight hose and shouldn’t be a problem the others look a bit more specific but I can’t believe TVR spent money on having some specials made.

It looks as if accessing the front anti roll bar bush bolts will be a whole lot easier if the rad is unbolted and lifted up a bit. Is that the case or am I missing something.

Yep - as is the front chassis/ body mount which is also used as an earthing point, great time to clean up as the connection gets a bit cruddy.

You can access the bolts from underneath but it is a PITA. If you can actually get them out they are even harder to get back in - suggest the help of someone with small, thin and agile fingers would be a bonus.
On the pre cat one is an earth point but the 500 is the front body to chassis bolt accessed behine the mesh and a lot easier to clean up.

Can be a pain getting the rad out.. On mine I had to remove the headlight to undo the alarm sounder bolts so I could move it out the way.

On your hose question, dunno where they came from, but in my humble, it is worth the bread for a set of silicone ones. Look the biz.
