Hi all,

Had a brilliant spin in the elise for the first time in ages yesterday. Was the first weekend in about 6 months that coincided with good weather so I fired her up and took her out.

Oh my God I had forgotten what it was like (all recent drives have been in wet tipee-toeing) in the dry with the roof off on a good road. Met a lot of bikers on what was probably their first stint in good weather for a while too. All just seemed right with the world. Brilliant fun.

Anyway just thought I'd share with the brethern thumbup

I went out for an hour yesterday, top on, windows down - couldn't find my scarf, and the sun was nearly down. Still fantastic though, you do forget what it's like a bit, then you remember and realise when you spend all your money on it.

Yes i went for a spin on sunday morning just after I finished giving it a clean

Roads were pretty dry and it was the first time in about 4 months that I'd got the roof off!

I was out and about on Saturday morning first thing.

It was the first time I have been able to experience the fun that comes with the Elise. The car felt a hell of alot more planted but this was probably a combination of dry roads and more self-confidence (which comes from the added grip of the dry roads)

I dont think I am fully prepared for the fun and games that summer is going to bring.

Yee haa!

I have been out driving with the roof off several times this month already ... even when it has been really cold! Although the highlight is that the roads are getting drier - I cannot wait for the warm roads, warm tyres and the endless grip that summer brings thumbup

The car sounds so much better with the roof off and because it is cold, my Janspeed exhaust pops too ... Excellent when passing through the local High Street tongue out

Also, you cannot beat driving down a country lane with the roof off and the low sun lighting up the sky orange, a few rays breaking through the trees ... I wish I wasn't stuck at work.

My FRIKKIN BLIMMING RUDDY BLOODY GRRRRINNNNG heater fan has stopped working.

Without the heater working I am loathe to take my hard top off, so I have to get it fixed ASAP really so I can get the softtop on.

I've already missed two awesome days of potential topless weather and it angers me. grrrr.

Stupid lotus.

Had a decent topless run out with a mate a couple of saturdays ago, fairly sunny, dry roads, amazes me everytime how you can take almost any corner at almost any speed. The average twisty B road you just dont need to slow down at all. Everytime you've pushed it as far as you dare, you want to go back and push it even harder, response every time from the Elise seems to be '...bring it on.'

Looking forward to a good summer. driving
