Me and a few driving enthusiast are trying to plan a weekend trip with the aim of heading to an area with some great driving roads. For some reason i though the lake district would have some tasty national speed limit roads......suggestions please.

Try East and North Yorkshire via Linclnshire (from London).
E-mail me and I can provide plenty of roads without speed cameras.

North York moors or the Yorkshire Dales have a few great roads as does anything around the Pennines (A686 is my favourite) including Cumbria and Northumberland but for miles of driving heaven you really need to leave England and either head for N.Wales or ideally the West Coast of Scotland.
